Wrist and Hand Injuries
Wrist and hand injuries are very common and it’s important not to delay the diagnosis and treatment. Whether from participating in a sport, everyday wear and tear, or overuse, many people will develop a wrist or hand injury. Pain can come on suddenly or gradually and can cause an interruption in daily activities. Many times, those playing sports professionally or for scholarships return to activity before healing has satisfactorily progressed. However, this often results in re-injury and long term disability can occur as a result of repetitive injury.
