About Jesse L. Pace

Jesse L. Pace, DO is currently an orthopaedic sports medicine fellow at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham, Alabama under the direction of James R. Andrews, MD, E. Lyle Cain, Jr., MD, William G. Clancy, Jr., MD, and Jeffrey R. Dugas, MD. Dr. Pace graduated from Centre College in Danville, KY in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He continued his education at the Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine (PCSOM), graduating in 2003. He then went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency Affinity Medical Center in Canton, OH, where he was Chief Resident from 2007-2008. In 2008-2009, Dr. Pace completed a research fellowship at ASMI. Currently, Dr. Pace is the orthopaedic fellow assigned to Auburn University in Auburn, AL, Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, AL and Mountain Brook High School in Birmingham, AL.

Dr. Pace has presented research and lectured at numerous orthopaedic and sports medicine conferences. He has also authored research and book chapters in topics related to orthopaedics and sports medicine. A native of Evarts, KY in Harlan County, he is married to the former Candice Adkins. They currently reside in Birmingham, Alabama.
